Subject: Temporary Road Works at Barrangary Road

Just to make you all aware Balfour Beatty will be carrying out remedial works on Barrangary Road (the Southern Access Road) into Dargavel Village South starting today. In order to carry out the works safely a traffic management system including traffic lights will be installed at either side of the Railway Bridge and there will be areas of the road that will be coned off and signalled whilst work is being undertaken. Please be aware of the proposed temporary traffic alterations. The works will assist in the process of getting Barrangary Road adopted by Renfrewshire Council roads department.

This document represents the agreement between BAE Systems and Renfrewshire Council, regarding the former’s obligations when carrying out the development of the village. It includes references to the motorway junction, community centre and schools, together with associated milestones for these obligations to be delivered.
This is believed to be at least the third update to the document, as it is reviewed and revised on an irregular basis:
This information was received from BAE by RMG on 23 February 2015 and discussed in the RMG Residents Meeting on 24 February 2015. It details the revised schedule of handing over key areas of the common ground to the co-proprietors (residents) and hence the factor; many dates have been delayed by at least 12 months. The first document is the quarterly schedule and the second document shows where each feature lies on the estate.
