The Bishopton Community Development Trust (“BCDT”) has been set up by the Bishopton community to deliver projects to make the village a better place. It was formed in connection with the section 75 agreement entered into by BAE Systems with Renfrewshire Council as part of its planning application for the development of the Dargavel site. As part of that section 75 agreement BAE Systems committed to transfer Holm Park to the Trust and also provide funding for community development projects in Bishopton. Currently the BCDT are exploring the proposed future redevelopment of Holm Park as one such community development project.
